I’m Bronika Carter, the founder and creative director of Bronika Carter Design. With a unique background in engineering, project management, and interior design, I offer a rare blend of technical precision and creative vision that sets me apart from traditional interior designers.

Specialising in kitchen and bathroom design, spatial planning, and custom joinery, I create spaces that are both functional and aesthetically stunning. My approach combines practical solutions, intelligent layouts, and a seamless flow between rooms. I also provide 3D colour models of your space, allowing you to visualise exactly how your design will look before making any commitments.

I believe that great design goes beyond appearance β€” it’s about how a space works. If your designer can’t produce accurate technical plans, schedules, and budgets, the project can fall apart during construction. I’ve seen this all too often, and it leads to unnecessary stress, delays, and additional costs. My process ensures everything is meticulously documented, coordinated, and ready for execution, so your project runs smoothly from concept to completion.

My design style blends the timeless elegance of English country with the warmth and character of Australian country living, celebrating colour, craftsmanship, and classic architectural details. I thrive on projects that encompass at least two rooms, ensuring a cohesive, well-considered home that reflects both functionality and style.

Based in Kalamunda, Perth Hills, I work with clients across Australia, providing clear, confident guidance through renovations and new builds.

Biography & Statements

My design journey began with a spark of curiosity and a strong desire to understand how spaces shape the way we live and feel. That natural pull towards visual storytelling and spatial problem-solving led me to study both architecture and interior design, two fields that gave me the tools to bring creative ideas to life in a practical, grounded way.

Throughout my career, I’ve gained experience across multiple disciplines, from construction and project management to kitchen and bathroom design, refining my ability to balance beauty, functionality, and long-term durability. My natural curiosity and passion for detail drive me to find innovative solutions, whether I’m restoring the character of a heritage home or collaborating with architects on a new build designed to feel timeless from the outset.

I have a profound respect for quality craftsmanship and a genuine love for creating homes that are thoughtful, full of character, and deeply personal. Working closely with clients, builders, and suppliers, I ensure every project is executed with honesty, collaboration, and purpose, bringing each vision to life with integrity.
