From Imelda’s very first brief, “give me some colour!”, Bronika knew she had to create a vibrant and cheerful space. The designer took inspiration from the yellow wattle blooming around Perth Hills in the spring, as well as Imelda’s love for mustards and pinks. The kitchen was the main focus of the renovation, with Bronika transforming it to provide more functional storage and incorporating innovative ideas and bright materials.
The wet area spaces were reworked with some clever spatial planning. Removing all of the internal walls and floors we’re necessary to provide structural enhancements and allow for waterproofing and tiles where previous temporary walls stood. So Bronika took the opportunity to rework the floor plan which gave her clients more storage in the laundry, a walk-in shower in the bathroom, and the powder room had it’s own separate entrance from the hall.

“From the initial consult through to the project wrap-up we felt fully consulted and heard. Bronika took a great deal of trouble to understand our preferences and tastes - discovering likes and dislikes we didn't even know we had, and taking them into account. She was very flexible, working around our busy working lives, and quick to offer creative and exciting solutions to any issues. e had to remain within budget. We never felt hurried or pressured in to any particular option. She is practical and down to earth and creates spaces that make you feel instantly at home. We have nothing but praise for Bronika and I would recommend her highly.”
